Hi JohnI,Thanks for your query. The Navman Day and Night mode can be set automatically via Settings. If it's set to Auto, the screen mode automatically switches depending on the time of the day (6AM and 6PM). We bought MY TRUCK 11 unit from JB HI-FI on 22/7/2016 and after 2 months it started turning off after 1 .5hrs even when constantly connected to charger.we send it back and got replaced.now its playing up again..it cant get GPS even when i turn it off and on or change places.sometimes cant even turn it on.or go to MAPS.

However, it is not preferred as USB ports can emit a lower than required amount of power and if the battery is completely flat, the USB port may not produce enough of an initial kick to start charging the battery. If this happens, please charge the device with the power off via AC or In-car power adaptor for 30 minutes first, then connect the device to the computer. hello, our Navman Move - 50 is about 4 yrs old, 5' screen Model N393-5000 sometimes takes ages to acquire a GPS signal. Sometimes it works perfectly, other times takes up to 30+ minutes to register my location and start working. Also sometimes the audio is lagging behind the visual, and is almost too late to act on. In other words I've gone passed the point of where I should turn when it gives the instruction. Any advice please?

Use a pointy object and hold the pin down for 3-5 seconds. If you're still having the same problem, it would be best to send the unit for repair.
